The new site for Margaret Mary Community Hospital has gone live!

It’s got an events calendar, physician database, a job posting & employment application system as well as a comprehensive navigation structure for the hospital’s many medical services.

Congrats to everyone at MMCH.

Nash Smasher has found its way onto another list of great iPad stuff! It’s always great to see that other folks are enjoying the end product.

This is a great piece of news just as the Crab Hill Press team is getting back together for a pair of exciting new projects in 2012. The New York/Greencastle/Indianapolis/Amsterdam contingent rides again!

This includes…

• A new iPad book with Crab Hill Press
• A hybrid game for both mobile devices & desktop browsers
• 2 author sites for Random House
• A newsletter generating site for a technology consulting company
• A website for comedian Kathleen Madigan
• And several smaller brochure sites

And as the year ends, quite a few major projects are just finishing up. That includes a large-ish hospital website and a very exciting scavenger hunt website & app. Maybe in this coming year I’ll manage to make good on my promise from this time last year: to add to the library of silly games that exist for no reason other than to amuse me. Time will tell.

No two projects are the same. No two clients are the same. And I feel deeply privileged to have worked with every single one of you. Cheers, everyone, and here’s to a great 2012.

I grew up the son of a commercial artist, so I understand when people say that what we do is a “lumpy” business. By that they mean that work comes along all at once or not at all. In the last few years, I guess you could say that it would be more accurate to describe development as a “chunky” business.

I’ve brought the old games back and started work on a redesign to focus entirely on development projects. The process is going to take some time, though, since I’m doing this between the various “chunks” of paid work.
